Cosculluela Biography:







Born October 15, 1980 Jose Fernando Cosculluela Suarez Humacao, Puerto Rico.  Jose Humacao is more known for his stage name is “Cosculluela“,  a name that stuck with him ever since he was in elementary school.  Every since Cosculluela could talk he knew that music was going to be his life long goal.  Since the age of 10 his love for music turned into an addictive drug that he couldn’t stop.  He decided to make beats and underground mixtapes with his brother Jamie and some close friends.  Just years of playing around and handing out mix tapes and preforming at local events, Cosculluela and his friends where discovered by Buddha in a studio in Puerto Rico.  Cosculluela talent was undeniable so Budda made him sink or swim when he team him up with Don Omar on Bandoleros in 2006.  After his hit song “Te Va A Ir Mal” he started to move up the ranks in the industry and breaking down barriers.
Before he could blink everybody wanted to be on a track with him due to his unique flow and diversity.  Cosculluela was able to switch over to Reggaeton to Hip Hop in a blink of an eye on tracks.  Famous tracks he appeared on where Los Bandoleros, Los Bravos, El Pentagono Return and tons more.  Anybody in the industry would know Cosculluela by “El Principle del Verso” or English translation “King Of Verse“, who is the top of the lyrical game.  He has influenced many up and new comers in the Reggaeton industry.
Cosculluela has not only made his name for himself across Puerto Rico but is recognized as a icon all across South America.  He as preformed many concerts in Venezuela, Colombia and Argentina.   As time goes his name is spreading like wild fire across the newspapers and the web.  Before he releases his CD you can find him in the studio making tracks with Daddy Yankee and Jomar and others that he flow with.
With being one of the best in the industry pays a price as well.  Its not all fine and dandy for Cosculluela with an on going war with old time friend Yomo where they grew up in the same neighbourhood Humacao.  He has started a lyrical war with Gastam y Kenny when they dissed him out of jealously because he took  over as the number 1 pick in Buddha’s record company.  Dominican artist Arcangel who is partners in “Full Records” told Nengo Flow to diss Cosculluela on his song “Caracol”.  They was due to the fact Cosculluela picked Voltio to be on a single and pushed aside Nengo.  Cosculluela was not taking this softly, he retaliated by releasing “Descansa en Paz Full Records.  Up until the end of 2009 Nengo Flow and Cosculluela pushed aside there differences and became friends.
Cosculluela success continues to burst through the sky and he is rising to be one of the greats.   He is said to be the hottest Reggaeton artist of 2010.  Being in a fast growing market Cosculluela will be a pioneer in the future.
